A City Lake at Dusk - Actifit Report: July 5 2020

We had a beautiful walk around Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis this evening. As I mentioned in my earlier post about the boarded up drugstore that fell victim to the recent riots, we did see evidence of what went down, but this area is about five miles from the epicenter, and that is really all we saw. Just that one store undergoing repairs. Everything else in that area was as it has always been.

There were a lot of people out enjoying the summer evening, on and around the lake.

It’s a wonderful place to walk because there are separate paths around the lake for walkers and for people with wheels. It’s surprisingly peaceful though it’s right next to the city.
