Friends, dogs and frogs - Actifit Report: July 30 2020
There is so much beauty around me this time of year, it is a feast for the eyes. I walked with two friends and their dogs this evening, along trails and through woods. It was lovely!
The park where we meet to walk (social distanced, of course), is full of trees, wild grasses, wildflowers and cattails. It is a magical place.
You have to be careful as you walk, not to step on any frogs, as there are marshes all around, and they often like to travel, hopping across the paths.
The most amazing thing we saw was an owl, perched on a tree in the woods, watching us. If you look hard, you can see him! He is sitting on a branch, just left of the center tree.
The forested area was really lush and dense and beautiful.
The sky turned colors as the day headed toward sunset.
