Tonight my husband and I took a long nature walk with Zoey. Here are some of my favorite photos of the evening.

I love the crazy overgrowth this time of year. There are parts of the year here when it seems nothing will ever grow again. And then summer comes and everything explodes into color.

It’s such a wonder to the eyes that I just keep taking pictures - each scene more lovely and enticing than the last. People who walk with me have to very patient because I can’t pass anything by.

I am just the opposite, I forget to take pictures most of the time. It is mostly because I listen to audiobooks while walking so forget most times.

Ha ha, I do both. The hilarious thing is when I'm walking the dog at the park, chucking the ball for her, listening to an audio book, and stopping to greet other dogs and walkers. Perhaps I multi-task just a bit too much.
