That reminds me of one year when fall leaves were turning beautiful on some trees, while others had not turned yet. THEN, we a deep cold snap over night and soon, a certain kind of tree, I don't know what kind it was, dropped all of it's leaves while they were still green. You would see it here and there, underneath were piles of green leaves. It was SO shocked by the sudden temperature drop, that it couldn't wait for it's leaves to turn colors, it just dropped them off ! It was pretty weird looking.

Yes, that sounds very odd! It's really bizarre when trees drop all their leaves at once. Sudden weather changes can do it!
