Beautiful, Sublime Sunday - Actifit: January 3 2021

Today’s walk was on a frozen lake. It was a stunning, bright day, and warmer than we’ve experienced lately, with the temperature several degrees above freezing.

It was a great day for snow play and ice fishing!

One guy was pulling kids on sleds behind a snowmobile. There were also people out cross country skiing, and some people skating on rinks that have been set up on a few places.

Some of the ice fishing enthusiasts have fancy huts and houses, but today was so mild that many were just sitting out in the sunshine.

Nice winter fun. I wonder how long the lake stays frozen since you mentioned the temperature is warmer

Wow, it looks so cool..and sooooo COOOOL Brrrr.
But no, nooo thanks, I don't think I could ever bring myself to walk on a frozen lake- too paranoid about the freezing, cold water just below the surface....😳

That weather sounds ideal to me, plus all the adventurous sports you have on snow something we know little about.

We do have ice-rinks however they are expensive truly for people who do love the sport of skating or ice-hockey, not very many around but they are here.
