Zug Zug is our local caveman, returned from the ice age in a block of ice. I heard about him and I had to go see for myself. And sure enough, at a local snow play park called Theodore Wirth Park, there he was!
Actually, Zug Zug is a work of art, evidently. And the block of ice is a plastic case, but it’s quite startling to see! The artist did an amazing job. You can learn more about it here.
The park was very lively with lots of people enjoying various forms of snow play - from sledding to cross-country skiing to tubing, snowshoeing and bike riding.
In case you can’t tell what you’re seeing in this next picture, it is people bending over to remove their snowshoes.
I took a lovely walk in the woods on the bike trail. I just had to jump out of the way anytime a cyclist came along.
It really was a beautiful day.
