Beautiful Sublime Sunday - Actifit: February 14 2021
Once again I bundled up and went out walking in the extreme cold - this time with my two favorite walking buddies and their dogs. The temperature was -10 Fahrenheit (-23 Celsius), but we were well dressed for the weather and comfortable.
It is kind of hilarious what all you have to put on for this kind of weather: snow pants, warm socks, snow boots, heavy jacket, scarf, balaclava (though some just use a scarf and today I used my Covid mask), plus heavy gloves, and a really warm hat,
Even more hilarious is what happened to my makeup in this weather. The moisture of my eyes was continually turning to tiny icicles and melting, which took all of my makeup off! (Warning: not pretty!)
The park was beautiful, though, and as always the sun on the snow is so uplifting!
