Winter’s waxing and waning - Actifit: March 17 2021
We started out the regional trail this evening, and it was beautiful but the trail was covered in icy slush from two recent snow falls. The second one was last night and I woke to a white world this morning with puffs of snow coating every twig snd branch. I wanted to go out walking in the morning before ther puffy snow began to melt and fall off, but I had to get to work so I only got this one picture:
Oh and I very lamely tried to get a picture of the cardinal in my birch trees. It’s not great, because it was out the window.
Anyway, back to the trail!! I didn’t finish telling that story. Well... I had the wrong type of boots on. They were just thin leather boots, not insulated in any way. So walking through frozen slush didn’t work very well. We went back to the street and completed our walk on dry sidewalks!

Covered with snow, but it is so pretty
hmmmm, March and it's snowing there...
Here, we are melting -but then again, we are melting almost all year round but around this time... it is warmer :D
