Sunny Saturday - Actifit: March 20 2021
Had a super active, busy day today. The first thing was a trail walk with my sister. It was a little cool and breezy but quite nice to be out in the sun.
I took a picture of the lake, which is slowly melting. I noticed our shadows at the edge of the ice and decided they made an interesting addition to the composition.
It’s a little hard to get an interesting picture of a giant sheet of ice on a lake. Take a look at the following. Am I right?
Back to the trail. The snow will soon be gone again!
Other than that I also did a lot of work around the house, spring cleaning and cooking, so it racked up some steps.

You girls look fantastic. The anticipation of spring and warmer weather!
Ironically, yesterday I was teaching some of my students in a Saturday class about seasons and temperatures in English and sent them a warm picture of a squirrel jumping on a sunny grassy field. Today I am reading posts about still chilly temperature as a good reminder that the arrival of spring does not mean a drastic change of temperatures.
All the pictures are great, although frozen lakes make me nervous 😁
Thank you for stopping by, @hlezama! Yes, in our region springtime comes very gradually. We cannot plant our gardens until May because of the risk of frost. We may get another snowstorm before then!
