My Actifit Report Card: July 2 2021

I had the day off work today, and it was the most wonderful day. It was pretty much all about the garden. I have a rather large property, for a house in the suburbs. There are gardens, trees, shrubs and landscaping to tend to on all four sides of the house. It’s a bit overwhelming, but I have gotten used to it, and I have some systems for keeping weeds under control and keeping the place looking nice.

At any rate, that was how I got so many steps today. I pulled weeds, did some planting, lots of watering, and I went to the garden store and loaded my van with 30 bags of mulch, which I then unloaded and stacked at home, ready for spreading tomorrow.

And then we had friends over for dinner and I grilled chicken and asparagus and we sat out on the deck with candles and wine and laughed and talked, and the fireflies came out.

I didn’t take many pictures today, but I did grab a few of my white lilies.
