Beautiful Sunday - Actifit: July 18 2021

I had a very busy and active day today, but have very little to show for it in terms of pictures. I did tons of work around the house and garden and went to my son’s baseball game, but I only managed to get a picture of him pitching and one of him batting!

I thought you try to be either a good pitcher or batter. Can he do both well?

The short answer is "no." But the fact is some are very good at both. I won't pretend to fully understand baseball! Evidently there are many pitchers who never bat. But it all changes across leagues, the NBA, philosophy of coaches, talent of the players, etc... as far as I can tell!

I guess they to specialise to go further. If playing for leisure then that is no need.
