Actifit Report 101020: No School Let's Go to the Park

I hope you all enjoy these pictures. The oldest didn't have kindergarten today so we ventured out to the metroparks to enjoy the beautiful day.

We Bundled Up Early and Took Off Layers Late

We started out at the castle and ended up here at the nature preserve. In addition to the lovely flowers we saw the bee hive and got to walk on the boardwalk.

The kids could see the little fish and later a large Blue Heron eating said fish.

The Kids Knew We Would be There a While

Because they saw me put snacks and water in the car as we left the house.

They chatted and ran with joggers, said hello to anyone who crossed their path, and had the nicest exchange with an older lady while watching the heron feast.

We Played Hide and Seek in the Castle

Essentially it's a game of chase, but this time we were dodging photographers and kids getting their senior pictures taken.

All in All 10K was Achieved by 12p
