Actifit Report 201031: Boo and Beer

Well, Halloween went off without a hitch. Actually, i'll let you know in a couple days...

We Did Try to Have the Grandest Time

We set out these two bad boys with a table full of pre-bagged candy that trick- or-treaters could just take at their own will.

My Son Fell into a Huge Puddle

He was sopping wet and we had to come back and change not just costumes, but undergarments as well.

Thank god we have plenty of costumes.

I had a Couple of These Tonight

It's called a Mimosaic IPA. I didn't catch the pun the first time but then I sipped it for a bit, a long bit.

It tastes like a dry orange juice. Which is fine by me. I don't need the total sweetness of orange juice so this orange punch with a dry finish was a good balance for a beer.

It Pours Nice and Smells Flavorful

The orange hits the nose first for sure. Then obviously the initial taste you begin to think it's orange juice.

The sip dries up at the end and you see why they call it "mimosaic"... not because it's a mosaic of flavors, rather because it tasted like a mimosa (orange juice and champagne) albeit a little dry [fine by me].
