Actifit Report 251121: A Thankful Day
Today was a great day.
We all woke up in a "new"place. Took the kids down for the continental breakfast at the hotel. Then we went up and got out swimsuits on to head down and enjoy the pool.
After a good swim we headed upstairs to get changed and head to our friends house for Thanksgiving brunch.
These are our lifelong friends and we've spent the majority of our Thanksgivings together since forever.
Obviously last year we were not able to spend the time together because of quarantine, so we were all grateful that we could be together again.
Their kids are older than ours so it's also a nice break to have everyone in the same house, occupied, without real parental intervention.
They are big into gymnastics so after brunch we all headed over to the gym for some exercise.
The kids had a blast jumping on the trampolines, going on the balance beam, and jumping into "the pit"
Once we were done there we headed back to the hotel. My wife took a nap and I took the kids back to the pool.
After that we headed back over to our friends house for the feast.
We had a great time catching up over dinner and drinks. More family and friends came over for dessert. Good times. The kids got to stay up later than normal.
Hopefully they will sleep in.

Oh man! I love spending Thanksgiving this way-doing active things before the big meal. My sister and I went on a 20 mile bike ride this morning. It was a nice, leisurely pace so we could just chitchat while we rode.
Yeah, by dinnertime we were pretty hungry. I have to get back on my bike next spring. Glad you had a good day too. Thanks for commenting!

Looks like a solid successful Thanksgiving! I'm glad it was a great day, my holiday went awesome too! It's so cool that during all the fun times, Hive is spiking tremendously, I'm thankful to be here as well, cheers!
