Meine Actifit-Report-Card: Oktober 1 2022

Hallo zusammen,

der erste Tag an der Nordsee Küste war sehr ereignisreich. Gestartet haben wir mit einer Hofführung auf einer Lama Ranch, die sehr persönlich und informativ war. Die Inhaberin hat dort mittlerweile die verschiedensten Tiere aufgenommen, um sie zu teilweise vor dem Tod zu retten. Sie beherbergt auf ihrem Hof Lamas, Alpacas, Esel, Kängurus und etliche Kleintiere. Es war sehr beeindruckend zu sehen und zu erleben, wie sich diese Frau und ihre Familie für die Tiere engagieren.

Hello all,
The first day on the North Sea coast was very eventful. We started with a tour of a llama ranch, which was very personal and informative. The owner has taken in a wide variety of animals there to save them. She houses llamas, alpacas, donkeys, kangaroos, etc. It was very impressive to see and experience how this woman and her family are committed to the animals.

Zum Mittag gab es leckere Fischbrötchen beim Kutterhafen.

For lunch we had delicious fish sandwiches at the Kutterhafen.

Das Wetter meinte es trotz Regenprognosen gut mit uns, und wir konnten am späten Nachmittag noch einen ausgedehnten Spaziergang machen. Einfach wunderbar :)

The weather meant it well with us despite rain forecasts and we could still make an extended walk in the late afternoon. Just wonderful :)

Thanks :)
No, the llamas did not spit. It was explained to us that they do not spit on people because they are used to people. They only spit among themselves, for example when they feel threatened. It is a kind of language among the llamas. Lucky for us ;)
