This is a matter of life and death! Yesterday I wrote about not dying and today - not being born!

Have you heard about robot mommas?

That's right, no need to be born anymore. Soon (maybe?) a company in China will be selling Pregnancy Robots for $13,900 in US dollars. I found out about this from a YouTube video on the WION News channel which has 10 MILLION subscribers! This video from a few days ago got over 25K views.

So there is a Chinese company called Kaiwa Technology in is in the city of Guangzhou who have been desigining this robot and now it is about ready for sale, maybe next year.

Dr. Zhang Qifeng, founder of Kaiwa Technology in Guangzhou, stated that the technology has reached a “mature stage.” The next step involves implantation into the robot’s abdomen so that human interaction can facilitate pregnancy. According to Dr. Qifeng, a live baby could be born after nine months.

Reports in Chinese media describe the robot as capable of simulating the full pregnancy cycle. During gestation, the fetus would reside inside the robot’s body, surrounded by artificial amniotic fluid to replicate the womb environment.

Why China?

Why would China be so interested in this artificial way to make new people?

Simple. Their demographics are bad! They will run out of people in 10 years according to this:

My Activity

for today was some exercise snacks like high knees and squats. I also lifted weights and went swimming at the pool.

At night I took a short walk. It wasn't too hot out but still a bit humid. I managed to get over 5K so that's sufficient.

I found this very surprising. The idea of ​​a robot mother carrying a baby is truly an amazing example of future technology. If it is possible, it will take the connection between humans and technology to a whole new level.

We're watching science fiction turning real. If it’s true, the ethical and social questions are massive very massive. It's a cool tech idea but raising a child is way more than just carrying them in a womb
