My Actifit Report Card: January 24 2026 - Ice Storm, Stay Safe!

Happy 2026! I haven't posted lately and haven't done an actifit post in months. But today I went looking for this old phone which has actifit on it, to use it as a flashlight if the power goes out. We're expecting an ice storm tonight and tomorrow.

it won't be over freezing in temperature till maybe Tuesday. It's super cold out there, you might say Max Frost.

Which reminds me of a movie I watched on tubi the other day, called Wild In The Streets. This is a 1968 movie about the baby boomers who were in the majority then as they are now, but they were teens then and they're older folks these days.

The movie is about rock star Max Frost who is rich and influential. He gets involved in politics and ends up as President of the US at the age of 25.

In one scene there is unrest in Washington DC and the police shoot some protesters. Max is not happy, so we writes a song and sings it to his Troops. The song is (Nothing Can Change The) Shape Of Things To Come. Here is the video.

The song went to number 22 on the real Billboard Charts and an album was then released featuring songs from the movie and others. It's pretty cool. Max Frost cool.

Are things that different now, from how they were in 1968? There is a lot of wildness in the streets. People in authority are shooting people against authority. Someone popular in the entertainment world is now president. The Viet Nam war was on back then; other wars are on now.

One last thing. In the move, and this is a very strange movie, when Max becomes president he decides that everyone over the age of 35 needs to be rounded up and sent to re-education camps where they are given LSD to make them incapacitated. People are being rounded up today.

Let's hope a season of peace comes upon us all. War is over if we want it. Give Peace a Chance.
