Weil der örtliche Imker keine Schwarmfangkisten verleiht


Musste ich mir anders behelfen: Ein Kunststoffeimer mit bündig verschliessbarem Deckel. In der Mitte ein 8er Loch, und einige 4er Löcher für die Lüftung. Da dürften die #Bienen nicht durchpassen.

Ja langsam muss man sich vorbereiten, die Schwarm Zeit geht los. Dieses Jahr zwar etwas langsamer und etwas später als die letzten Jahre aber sie wird kommen.

Da ich keine Drohnenbrut schneide und die Eingriffe in das Bienenvolk so gering wie möglich halten will, ist die beste Möglichkeit, die Schwärme zu fangen.

Übrigens ich schneide auch nicht Drohnen. Da habe ich meine eigene Philosophie.
