My Actifit Report Card: April 10 2021

Bah, today was a barely successful writing day.

Of course, I have a decent defense because I was spending most of the day working on coursework that was frustrating in terms of the time investment relative to the amount of writing progress, and with that over I should be freed from much of the angst regarding that.

Still, other than the amount of time invested for what I consider a minimal return, I had a productive day in terms of the raw amount of time I spent on task, so that’s not so bad.

I should only have a little coursework to finish off tomorrow, and I’m getting to bed at a time that resembles my actual bedtime.

I’m feeling more optimistic about things than I was earlier this year, which is good. I’m still at a point where I need to be quite active (in almost every sense possible) to keep moving forward, in part because I don’t have the momentum and trajectory I currently want.

But that means that I’ve got plenty of room to improve, and I think that a consistent course of right action will take me where I want to go. Figuring out what is right is an adventure of its own, but I look forward to it.

One thing that’s fun is that I’m working on some little things for Exoworld, and while they’re quite humble right now they could potentially turn into something quite cool. Aspects of Sand is advancing slowly in terms of getting text written, but I know exactly where I want it to go, and the Exoworld novel is still very much a single scene but I feel good about where it’s going.
