My Actifit Report Card: June 5 2022

The day has ended and it is time for #SublimeSunday by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday by @ace108.

We went out for lunch today and a walk in the city.

A boy seems to be waiting for a ride or his companion as he watch over what they bought in the market. This reminds me of when I was younger. Whenever my I accompany my mom to the market, she would leave me in one spot with all that we bought. It's easier that way rather than having to carry everything everywhere. Sometimes it worries me when it takes her a long time.

Under the quadrangle overpass. This is the only quadrangle overpass we have in the city. I caught someone crossing the road under the overpass.

This isone of the oldest buildings in the city. There are tarpaulins hang around the building where it states that the property is not for sale ever. However, I wonder why the owner/s don't rehabilitate it. It used to be a hotel but now it is converted to a business center mostly second hand RTWs and other goods and items.

One of the condominiums in the city. There used to be an office here where I worked before and another office where I applied. There is also a computer shop there. I don't know if any of those are still in operation. Part of the ground floor used to house restaurants but now it's empty.

There are other hotels and condominiums in this area.

There is also a church in the neighbourhood called Church of Our Lady of Lourdes which is across the children's park. It's a Sunday so there were lots of churchgoers and along with that the parishioners with cars cause heavy traffic with their coming and going.

I was curious what this lady was doing with her phone.

This is where we had our lunch. We were surprised that they have limited choices. They don't serve some of our favourites anymore. Good thing they still have Sinigang na Bagnet (soup with pork and vegetables)and Ensalada (steamed okra, freshly chopped onions and tomatoes, boiled eggplant, salted egg with soy sauce and lime as dip) and we paired those with rice. We also ordered grilled squid and beer but that came later after I took this photo.

After our meal, we rested a biy and then walked again going to Session Road for the Sunday market passing through the park.

It was a hot day and this calls for ice cream.

We also passed by the stairs to the cathedral. It was now again back to roofless stairs but now refurbished complete with plants and statues of different saints.

This mime is a crowd favorite because of how entertaining he is.

After buying some stuff, we then headed home passing by this building, another old one.

So there goes our day for this Sunday.
