This is a post for yesterday's activities, My #wednesdaywalk really helped the numbers!
And that was over on Padre Island, and although it was a Stormy Morning - the afternoon had a few good hours!

These are a few "Laughing Gulls" (native species to Padre Island and surroundings). They wanted to see what I was doing!
And this is the surf!

All in all a pleasant beach afternoon!

That is a pretty active surf considering Texas beaches don't usually get sizable waves. It's been so long since I've been to South Padre Island or any island or beach. Miss it. Thanks for sharing a moment of your beach day.

It has been Stormy almost every morning this week,
I am sure that is why there is so much wave activity!

You can see if anything has changed. I have been here a little under 30 years, the biggest thing is Bob Hall Pier is closed!
They say they are "rebuilding", so they cut out all the maintenance. They also dug up the parking lot, and removed all the beach tables and shad stands...🤔
