My Actifit Report Card: June 20 2020

(Edited)

It was a bit rainy and cloudy today so I did not do a lot of activities. I did manage to mow the yard during the break between the morning and afternoon showers. It is not much fun dealing with wet grass but it had dried out just enough so it was not too difficult to do.

I entertained myself taking a few pictures of a bee this afternoon. It was an interesting black color and had a big load of pollin collected.

I think I should get a very nice crop of blackberries this fall thanks to the hard work of the insects.

I'm planning to trim them back some more so I can better access the berries in the middle of the bushes. The birds mostly get those ones, however, if I get motivated this fall I might go after the big ones just out of normal reach.

The Rasberry Pi project is going fine. I've figured out how to record some records with my other computers and transfer the files to the media server on the Pi.

Audacity kept stopping recordings part way through albums. It also sometimes would not start recording. I think I've found the issue, it seems to have something to do with listening to the record while recording it in my configuration.

In any case I just recorded an entire album without it crashing so that progress I suppose.

For now I'm just moving the USB drive back and forth from the Pi to my other computers, since I can't figure out what the heck is wrong with the network file sharing. Aren't computers FUN, lol. :D

One of these days I will get around to compiling some crypto wallets on the Pi and seeing if that will work too.

Thanks for reading! I always value your support and comments. The pictures were taken by me with my Galaxy S9+. Text and graphics copyright lightsplasher & litesplasher.

It's nice to be able to take insect photos from the front yard of the house. I am very sure you really enjoyed it. It looks like this bee is a little bigger than honey bees. I wish you always happiness @lightsplasher

I loved our wild blackberries. They would get unruly and I would have to cut them back. Seemed to get chiggers if I got in too deep.

That Bumble bee really had a good load of Pollen. I am amazed how it can manage to carry and make the pollen stick unto its back legs @lightsplasher

Using Linux really is a complicated matter with problems arising here and there. Best regards to your Raspberry Pi :D
