My Actifit Report Card: June 22 2020

I played some disc golf in the evening today with my son and some friends. We were only playing with three discs and not keeping score. Mostly we were just enjoying being out there this evening.

During the day I made a short ride on the e-bike to look for my lost discs. Here's a couple of pictures I took when out wading in the river:

The water was cold but it felt nice to be in it.

I didn't find any discs this time, the water was very muddy looking.

I've been thinking it might be nice to get a small waterproof camera to put on the end of my disc recovery tool. That way I could look in the water without getting all wet and I could see better in the bushes growing by the side of the river. The camera could give me a good look if it was on the end of my sixteen foot disc reacher tool.

I have an old drone that I thought might work for looking in the bushes at least but the application that runs it keeps crashing, so I can't get video back from it any more. It used to work when I first purchased it.

Very tall grass is tough to search for discs in too because you need to be almost stepping on it sometimes to see it. A camera mounted on a long poll might see a better view from above.

Maybe if we get another check from the government I might splurge and get some kind of camera I can link to my smartphone.
