My Actifit Report Card: August 22 2020
I did a lot of puppy walking today. I think I got about 7K steps in just walking the puppy. He seems to enjoy it.
I rode over to the disc golf course this morning on my e-bike to look for my lost disc but I could not find it. I wish that I had taken my bag with me because I saw one of my friends there and I'm sure he would have wanted to play a round if I had my discs. He helped me look for my lost disc.
Later on my son and I went out to play the course after he got off work. We met three other players there and had a fun round. I went three over par. I was having a few issues throwing at first but I warmed up fast and was doing better.
Tonight's sunset out on the course:
There is a lot of apple trees around here that are just growing on the side of the road. I picked a few apples off this one using my disc retrieving tool:
I had fun knocking them off the high branches and catching them as they fell. I had one for lunch and it was pretty good but not fully ripe. I think they will ripen more in a few weeks once the first cold snaps start to happen.

Sorry you haven't found your disc yet. I guess you never know for sure if it is still where it landed or if someone else has already found it.
The sky picture is neat and unusual with all those clouds streaking across it.
That apple tree is so full of apples ! Were there any good ones on the ground or do the critters get those as fast as they fall?
Now I know what disc retrieval tool looks like. 🙂
There were several on the ground but you never know how long they have been there on a tree you find on the side of the road. Sometimes you can get sick from the ones on the ground if they have been there too long. I usually eat them of the ground from my yard though because I know what has been put on it, (no chemicals) and I know how long the apple has been laying there. The best tasting ones fall off the tree when they are ripe.
That makes sense. I never thought about an apple being on the ground to long if it still felt firm and was whole, it never crossed my mind that it could be harmful. Although I've never raised any myself, I did think that they dropped when they were perfectly ready to eat.
