My Actifit Report Card: September 9 2020

I played a round of disc golf with my son at the eighteen basket course by the river. I was doing okay at a two over par score. Nothing really eventful happened.

The air is clearer today but still very smoky. There are many fires burning around here and it is very windy and hot in many areas nearby. Right where I live, no major fires have started so far but the fire danger is high. It has been a bit hot and dry.

I was happy to hear a government official actually say that this was caused by climate change and these types of extremes are becoming the new normal - or something like that. It feels like someone else is starting to become concerned about things and I'm glad about that.

I took this picture today of the spider by the blackberries in the backyard:

I think the spider is after the fruit flies and other insects that enjoy the area.

I'm still harvesting a lot of blackberries each day and are freezing some for the winter.
