My Actifit Report Card: October 25 2020
I did not do too many steps today, I was a bit tired from yesterday. My son and I went on a short one disc round in the moonlight. It is fun to be out in the late evening but tough to see where the disc goes. We played with glow Chariot midrange discs.
After throwing the disc for the full round on every hole I got a better feel for how to use the disc in a variety of different ways. Midrange discs are very versatile and can show problems that you might be having in your form. I think it is helpful to throw a single disc round once in awhile.
I also walked the dog today. We just went for our usual short walk. I'm still using the noise canceling headphones. They are wonderful for cutting down the traffic noise. The media server I setup on the Raspberry Pi computer works well except it cuts out at the end of the street. I think the system might have issues going from WiFi to the 3G network or something. It is annoying but works again if I restart it. (Maybe the fix would be to turn off WiFi on my smartphone before leaving the house. I would try that but I have the annoying habit of forgetting to turn things back on and that would be bad, lol.)
My breakfast this morning:
Some friends gave us some lobster mushrooms which ended up in the omelete. These were some pretty tasty wild mushrooms that were found locally around here.

I was wondering what that was under the gravy. It looked a little like a piece of apple sticking out, but gravy and apples sounded odd together...
I understand about forgetting to turn things back on. Since I do phone customer service some days on my job, I do not want my personal phone making any noises that anyone could hear in the background, so while I am working I turn the volume off. A lot of times I would forget to turn it back on after work and would miss a call, normally from my Mom. I have an Alexa though and finally got smart enough to think of having her remind me about 5:15 each weekday to turn my volume back on. It has worked out very nicely.
It's odd to me how many things there are like that. It's bad enough when I forget things but sometimes it seems like things just reset and are stuck on some setting from out of the blue. (The alarm clock magically decided to ring at midnight a while back and got pitched out into the trash can, lol.)
Email that works for several years then suddenly forgets your password. Blockchains that forget how to post comments, etc., etc. You'd think everything was older than I am, lol. Oh well, I guess that's progress.

Mighty fine looking breakfast.
It was pretty tasty; I like eating eggs occasionally and they do work well with mushrooms and cheese.
