The four of us played disc golf out at the difficult eighteen hole pro disc golf course this morning. It was a bit cold but warmer than yesterday and not much wind was blowing. We played a best shot double round and my team won.
Everyone was throwing pretty well today with only a few throws that went off course. My son lost one of his discs in the bramble bushes on the edge of the fairway though. We might be able to get it back, it was not that far off the fairway. The four of us looked for some time and we knew about where it landed but the bushes were very thick and thorny.
Other than that it was a great round and my team ended up with three birdies and finished at even for the course. Usually when I play this course by myself I am lucky to get below double digits over par.
I was mostly throwing my 167 gram Star Shryke for a distance driver. The course has some very long holes so this disc got a lot of work today. I was throwing it a lot better and not turning it over as much so it worked out well.
