My Actifit Report Card: August 27 2020

Hello Actifitters,

Summer ain't givin' up in Michigan: today was hot and muggy, and now, close to midnight, still in the mid-80s. That's just too much! If it had been up to me, I'd have stayed indoor all day. But clearly Genepi was in a playful mood, terrorizing all the squirrels daring to show up in the yard, and rocking a fancy hairdo around his ears, particularly the broken one.

So of course we went on multiple walks to burn some energy. Like I was saying a few days ago, I think the deers in the woods aren't even worried anymore when they see us.

This one was just chilling a few yards from us, and didn't even stand up. Lucky for it, the wind masked its scent and I spotted it before Genepi smelled it. Otherwise, with his energy today, he'd still be running after them through the woods, and I'd be looking for him with a headlamp. After some time, it finally stood up and started in our direction, when Genepi couldn't take it anymore and started barking, and it did scare it this time.

Well, that was an active day with almost 25k actifit steps, so that's it for today. Take care and thanks for stopping by.
