Sunset on the lake! My Actifit Report Card: November 28 2020
Hey everybody, hope your week end is going great.
I think the cover photo says it all, it was a chilly but great day in Michigan. When a friend called early afternoon to go for a hike in one of the local parks, of course I was in! Even if it meant i had to quickly get out of bed, clean the house and get ready before she arrived... Worth it!!
We arrived at the park a bit late, so we only walked about 4 miles. But it was the perfect timing to catch a great sunset on the lake.
Not sure dogs can appreciate nature's beauty the same way, but they for sure enjoyed the walk.
The Moon also wanted to party on the other side.
We tried enjoying the scenery from all possible angles.
Even after the sun hid behind the trees, colors turned to great purple shades.
We stayed till the very end to take it in as much as possible.
After all that, it was of course time for good food and good wine. And of course some Genepi, a drink from my home region back in the Alps (yes, that's where my dog's name comes from). Conclusion to a great day, with lots of Actifit steps!
Sorry for all the pictures, but I just couldn't choose, and they're all unedited, colors were really the best I've seen in a long time at this lake.

Thanks for your comment! My hometown is actually close to the Belledonne range in the French Alps. As the liquor is made from alpine plants, I am sure many areas around the Alps have their own version of it. Every time I visit home, I bring back at least a bottle, because there is no way to find it in the US.
Well, I suppose your origins might have been French... I also saw your nick name!
I see on Amazon that the genepi is available... perhaps not for the US market, due to some sort of prohibitionist law?
