My Actifit Report Card: April 26 2026

Hey Actifitters,

Yesterday confirmed that in my current form, my run the day before was probably a bit too much, as soreness started to set in. Being like Le Chat was very tempting.

But we can't do that, Kaia wouldn't accept it! So we started our daily walk as usual behind the front yard, where Kaia and Le Chat could get a quick grassy snack.

Then we headed to the bigger forest of course. As often, even before we made it into the forest, we met a few deer. This one let me get very close and combined with my phone zoom, that's a great close up.

Then Kaia was off-leash on the trails, no more deer for a while.

No surprise, my main goal was to catch the sun through the trees. As I mentioned so many times, that's always one of my favorites.

Kaia took full advantage of the off-leash freedom, exploring and chasing everything.

And I kept chasing the sun of course.

We also made our usual sunset stop. Even around 8pm, still plenty of time to catch it.

We changed up our final loop in the forest a little bit but that didn't fool Kaia, she led us out of the forest with no issues.

When we were done, we still had a beautiful blue sky and the Moon high up already. Always magnificent!

Besides our usual walk, there was something I couldn't postpone anymore, the maintenance of the lawn mower. I received all I needed a few days ago, but just didn't want to do it. All filters are now changed, oil is drained and just needs to be refilled, spark plug is changed. It's pretty much all done. But I realized too late I was missing something critical though: gas. I guess the actual yard work will wait a few more days. One more reason I prefer winter, no yard work!
