Dragonfly came to Visit : July 19 2020
This dragonfly came visiting today. We had a long conversation and I asked her to please stay.
I told her that I have plenty of mosquitos for her to eat and some day, a pond too.
Not quite ready to start another project. But soon...

Dragonfly so distinct again the green all around, nice photography hope he did stay to help keep them mosquito population down.

What a really nice colour for a Dragon Fly, I love gardens that are insect attracting :)
I do have tons of butterflies, moths, bees of all sorts, and other critters in the garden :)
Do dragonfly actually eat mosquitos? I really want to know.
Yup, They do. And if you have their larva in a body of water, they will eat the mosquitos larva as well.
I saw a red dragonfly once I googled it and it has special meaning.
What was the meaning?
It's sort of complex you should google it.
to my best understanding it represents death: but in a positive way like the death of a bad habit. It's like a symbol of harvesting.
