A surprise visit by a friend. We had African food in a social distance way. So yummy!

If you own (or have access to) a garden, you can plant fruits and vegetables, and a lot of things will be easy.

I have plans to participate in community gardening in the near future.

Mint is a pest ;)

We had a similar thing with arugula. My sister had some in her upstairs balcony box one year, and it went to seed in late summer. The next summer (2018, which was the driest in decades, with week long heat waves) there were some arugula plants between the paving stones in the driveway at the side of the house where the balcony is. Arugula is tough! Well, and tasty ;)

I have that happening too with Arugula and lettuce and whatever else I let go to seed. But I love it. Work free gardening :)
