The impact of lockdown isn’t funny anymore, but there’s something........

Hello fellow Actifiter, it’s been a while after I submitted my activities here, reason being that things aren’t looking good around us here in Nigeria, we’ve been indoors like a month now, and it’s not funny anymore seeing that the government isn’t doing anything for her people at this critical time.

For me, I’ve been busy at my farm anyway, trying to raise farm crops to aid the situation at hand by providing food for my family, neighbors and the church, if one can find his way for a remote area where farming is obtainable, better for such one in my state of residence.

This is a moment where people are being forced to change their business, I advise my friends to start looking for online business that may also help.

I’ll be updating us on my farming experience which I’ve started already. Meanwhile my challenge being that my location at the farm doesn’t have internet access, we’re still using third generation network (3G) but it’s not available at my location.

I trek far before I can access the internet, and that’s a risk too because police people could spoil show if one is caught parading around the vicinity after the approved time. The picture above was taking during my way to a particular point where I picks some fruits from local farmers.

I was all alone on my way to the place in a cool evening, my only companion was my phone, I tried taking some shots.

I came across this primary school which has been on lock and keys for months now due to coronavirus emergence . Children are staying at homes without knowing what the future holds concerning their education. Unfortunately, we’re not yet equipped for online classes due to poor internet services and lack of consistent power supply.

Many thoughts was coming to my mind as I strolled a lonely road to my destination, I remembered a statement from a president of a country who broke out of tears in a national tv and advised the world to continue looking unto the skies for help at this pandemic crisis.

As I gazed into the skies, guess what I saw, a beautiful sunset right in the sky.

I paused and gazed into the sky with a thought again coming which says “there’s hope”. Sunset signifies the end of the day’s struggles, time of rest; meaning that the new beginning is coming!

I smiled at Mother Nature for such consolation and great hope to anchor my soul. Nature is wonderful, full of hope and steadfastness, God is faithful irrespective of what man is doing, irrespective of our weaknesses and shortcomings.

Thanks for reading through, don’t give up, help is on the way, remember to always put smiles on peoples faces, always give cheerfully.
