Setting up my 4GLite Gadget for my Internet needs || My Actifit Report Card: June 29 2020
Can this 4G technology fix my internet problem?
Poor internet coverage from my farms has raised a great concern. I recently sorted out for a permanent solution to my internet predicament. I wouldn’t want to be hindered in my blogging activities from the farm just because of internet and network coverage.
Today I took my compliments to my ISP’s office, and they assured me that upgrading from 3G to 4G will solve the problem.
They introduced their new technology that can help solve my internet problems.
I spent almost $47 on the 4G WiFi gadget and sim card. I also paid for data. They registered both the gadget and the sim card to my profile with federal government using my ID.
My Fear
They gave me few hours to get the gadget activated which happened exactly as the said.
Now my worries is that since then, I’ve been test-running the gadget to see the difference between what I’m using before which is 3G and 4G upgrade that I just migrated to. Honestly speaking, I couldn’t see any light at the the end of the tunnel over the money that I spent on these things today. It seems that 3G is even faster than the so called 4G. The new 4GLite is sluggish 🐌 it’s unbelievable.
Can’t even open a webpage comfortably. I can’t see the value of my money from what I’m seeing right now, but I’ll exercise a little patience till tomorrow when I’ll also test it at the farm. If it happens that it doesn’t work, I’ll have to return them back to the vendor and request for a money-back.
It’s obvious that these ISPs are selling to the masses poor and inferior made in China stuffs. This is sad! The worst part of it is that the system is so warped that there’ll no justice for masses like I and average countrymen at the end of the day.
The SON (Standard Organisation of Nigeria) isn’t also helping matters, which is the core reason for these substandard electronics and gadgets flocking into my country.
I’ll rest my case here and update you tomorrow on my final results from the farm.
