Fresh cowpeas from my farm || My Actifit Report Card: July 8 2020
Feeding from my farm produce.
Making money is something difficult at this present time of pandemic and it’s associated lockdown.
I developed a strategy by which I augment food for my family; farming!
We started from harvesting of vegetables from our garden, eating from them and selling the surplus at farmers market.
Now in July, more food crops in our farm are read to be harvested. After attending to one of my farms today, I picked some cowpeas for dinner.
I’ll also harvest more that will be taken to my family and our poor neighbors by weekend.
We may not have enough money in our possession at this time, but we have food crops. I think we made the right choice by investing the little money we had in farming.
Soon we may also start selling corn 🌽 from our farm.
