Strolling in the Nearby Town

Monday, and I didn't go to work. Well yes, the holidays are underway. I spent the morning strolling around in the nearby town. And in the afternoon took a walk with my husband.

You see these figs, so far I've been showing pictures with a lot of green leaves, but today I saw this fig tree full of fruit already. They are not mature, that's for sure, but it was nice to see how many of them are on the branches.

From that nearby town I mentioned, that I spent the morning there, the view from the heights from there is just beautiful.

In the park, these flowers caught my attention, they smelled like acacia. Maybe it’s some kind of ornamental acacia, I’m not sure, though the petals of the plant are purple, not white like on real acacia.

When I drove back from that nearby town, even though it was only twenty minutes away, I felt the urge to travel and see other cities. I miss that.

But by the time we can travel again, I have to settle for these nearby places and small walks around the orchards, the river and the sea. That's not bad either, is it?

I agree. It's not the real travel thing of course, but I try and see it as an opportunity to discover or rediscover the nearby gems. Plus, you have both the mountains and the sea not too far, not bad at all! Great panoramic view by the way.

Yes, we have to discover the nice nearby places, and enjoy as much as we can. The view from there is amazing indeed 😊

Your purple and white flowers are actually wisteria. They are beautiful. Ours is not in bloom yet but will bloom within the next 4-6 weeks depending on how warm we are.

Beautiful pictures as always my friend! I've never seen figs on a tree. (they don't grow here, lol as far as I know). Excellent job with your 15524 @actifit steps today! Enjoy your week and take care!

Oh, thank you Elizabeth for letting me know the name of that flower, the scent of it is great :)

I imagine you have never seen figs in the trees as they are so sensitive to cold, the tree can not survive a very cold winter. The winters here are mild, so the figs can grow and enjoy their lives hehe 😆😇

Hahah my "crazy" friend said , take it, it will not do any harm to the plant, anyway that was a big plant :))) She is doing it all the time, everywhere. You are proud of her now, too :D

My husband just can't understand it 🤣

The little one had long stems and those small heart shaped leaves 💚.
