The Rocks Tell a Story. Fossils!! My Actifit Report Card: November 8 2020

The beautiful weather of this Sunday allowed me to enjoy these scenes. Okay, most of the time the weather is something like this, but I don't have time to come here every day and watch the amazing blue colour of the sea and the sky from this place.

Especially this whole week was ho hectic. Lessons, rehearsals, recording a few piano videos... so the weekend was a very desired thing to me. Last night we even watched a movie, for a change because we haven't turned on the TV for weeks (months?!).

So, if you want to join me in my walk to the lighthouse, put on your blanket and from the warmth of your home just indulge in this blueness.

The path to the lighthouse is between pines, and at some parts, there is just is a precipice.

There is one rock with some marks. One could think that are marks of some grass... or just scratches.

However, that marks are fossils of an extinct bivalve mollusc, called Condrodontos. They lived on the seabed over 100million years ago, according to the explications.

The question is how did they get to the mountain wall? It is because the origin of this mountain is tectonic... this wall belonged to the seabed millions of years ago. From this photo you can read more details
