Yes, I never have visited continental Spain. But I have been to Canary Islands twice. Last time in September 2020. It was completely empty because of pandemic, but still very beautiful.
I remember. I started here in actifit in August... and after some time I saw your posts because photos. Although it is not continental Spain, the landscape is so similar.
It is nicer when it is not so crowded, but at the same time somehow sad. I see the town so so sad now, all the bars, restaurants can not open in Valencian region... the non-essential stores close at 18:00... And the streets are completely empty.
You right, people in the bars and restaurants were so nice, but we knew that there is not enough tourists to make business worthwhile.
I do hope that they will survive till the end of this horrible pandemic.
