Mushroom grow kit update, plus My Actifit Report Card: March 1 2020

Almost two weeks ago I opened my lifecykel mushroom grow kit. I harvested them this morning and cooked them up for breakfast. They were delicious, although there wasn’t as much as I was expecting.

This was what they looked like on Wednesday night

Although there weren’t many mushrooms, the kit is supposed to yield a second and third batch. I am supposed to wait a week, then start watering it again twice a day and wait for the magic to happen once again!

I went for a 12.26 kms run this morning. It was my only run this week - I had some disappointing news a few days ago - the six foot track marathon which I’ve been training for has been cancelled. The organisers are in the process of deciding how to handle qualifying for next year’s race. I’ve also got to decide what race I will enter in next so I know what I'm training for ...
