My Cornish Actifit Report Card: April 21 2025
Yesterday was a packed day we started off with Perranporth which had to be one of the best beaches in the country and ended up later at Fistral Beach, which is my personal favourite.
In between we took Aurelia horse riding which she absolutely loved. The stables are just up in the hills above Perranporth and Aurelia got to ride a sweet little pony called Murray. We, the adults walked alongside and took in a circuit of gorgeous country lanes with breathtaking views of the bay below.
Later we ended up at Fistral Beach and finished the day at Rick Steins fish and chip restaurant just behind the bay. The food was lovely.

Rick Stein has a bit of a food empire down that way. It is nice around there, but the roads are not great. Looks like you are having fun.
We saw the man himself albeit not here but a few weeks ago in our hometown of Reading, where he did a talk which was very interesting.
The roads here weren’t made for big modern cars at all!
