The day began with lovely sounds of message tone that will make any one elated in spirit. As I woke up, checked my phone as I slept off in the midst of telegram conversation, I saw a message " send me your account number".

I quickly did my morning prayers, took to a run and did some jogging also. After completing my house chores, I patiently waited for the bank to open for business.

As the time for the day's business reached, I took to the road to make some withdrawal as I had received alerts of cash transfer into my account. Arriving at the bank premises, full compliance to Covid 19 guidelines were adhered to. I was sanitized and screened with infra Ray detector for temperature, and there after was issued with a number and a form to state my purpose of coming and transaction type.

After a while waiting for my turn, I was called into the banking Hall and this is what it looks like.

Earlier in the day but had received also a debit alert for ATM card which I never applied for, but just had to consider due to the pressing need of alternative and vertual use of electronic banking. I was informed that the debit was done in error and that there was going to be a reversal of the debit. Coming out of the bank, I remembered that I had promised this lady that I will visit her farm and enumerate her as a farmer under the Federal ministry of Agriculture and rural development (FMARD) scheme.

Her land mass measured 900 m² as shown in the survey above.

The land is segmented into two parts with one part used for maize farming. Part of the requirement for the farmer is the presentation of a valid means of identification which in this case was the permanent voters card.

The other section of the land shows a plantain plantation with over a hundred stand of plantain suckers.

The day officially ended after the enumeration exercise was concluded.
