Extracting Clay - My Actifit Report Card: September 19 2020

Hi Actifitters!

I have no idea how my Saturdays passed, but it is over... And the most interesting thing is that I didn't have any drink yesterday, and I still can't remember what have I done in the morning... lol...

Anyways, I do remember what have I done in the afternoon/evening... I went on a walk with my family and friend with his daughter... We went to the nearest hill which is a kind of national park, but it's not large as they use to be...

As it is always more interesting to go off the "official route", we went to see the old mines that were used to extract clay in the past... It was owned by one family that was exporting it by the sea to other countries...

Also, you will see in the photos a little bay... There are stories that it was used in a certain period as a hiding place for pirates... As they weren't friendly with locals, it was one of the reasons why Spaniards have built a bombarding tower at the top of the hill... After that, they built a lighting tower for safer guiding ships as for dangerous rocks and cliffs that are in the sea...

Wow!! These photos are gorgeous!! I like the story about the pirates too. :) I pictured Jack Sparrow immediately he he ;) That was one thing I liked in Cape Cod - the light houses. There were a lot of them and each uniquely different from the other.
