Hello everyone 😻,

Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. It's been another ordinary day stepping it out and it's now time to slow down and report on how my day went. Of course not forgetting the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
So without much further ado let's get into that and more 💨.
So I began my day with a brisk walk around the neighborhood. Pretty sunny 🌞 and windy as I made my way around the park.
Later on after about 20 or so minutes, I was back indoors getting on with the usual house chores.
Next I looked at some of the trending stories and also watched a bit of you tube and Twitter.
In the evening it was still sunny as I left for my sunset 🌄 walk. I did a few rounds in the neighbourhood before heading back indoors
I made it back safe and sound and have been watching the news and just relaxing😹.
So let's proceed to look at some of the trending stories.
Starting off in Gaza, Israeli airstrikes targeting Hamas kept going resulting in 16 deaths across the strip😿.
Israeli soldiers always suffered injuries when one of the building they were in collapsed from an airstrike.
Then the biggest story of the day. The Vatican trending as a new Pope was finally elected, starting with the emission of white smoke from the chimney of the Sistine chapel.
The 133 cardinals had agreed. Now 69 year old Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost becomes Pope Leo the 14th to lead 1.4 billion Catholics around the globe🎊👏.
He also made history as the first American pope though he also holds Peruvian nationality from spending many years in Peru on missionary work.
Thousands had gathered at St. Peter's square when he came out on the balcony and addressed them. Lets wait to see what his papacy will be like.
In the UK, politicians veterans and royals have commemorated the 80th anniversary since the end of world war two.
When the Allied forces defeated Germany/Hitler.
A difficult time in the world with the deaths of 20 to 30 million people😿.
We definitely hope to never see a war like that ever.
Unfortunately wars are still going on with that one in Gaza, then not far off in Ukraine.
Now India and Pakistan have started firing drones at each other🙀.
Across the pond, US and UK have agreed on a landmark trade deal, Trump said it was the first such agreement.
He has slashed tariffs on cars and metals but there will still be a 10% import tax on most goods shipped to the US from UK. Am sure similar deals will follow with Canada and the EU too.
Finally, today bitcoin shot back to 100,000 after weeks of pull back 😹👏. This could be the beginning of a bull run. FOMO has began to kick in. I really have no doubt that bitcoin will reach 1 million even before the predicted 2030💯.
