Cycling Trip To Beautiful Places in My Village

(Edited)

When I was working as a tour guide, I visited many beautiful places in my island. Now that tourism is gone, I have to find beauty in the places I visited. We don't go to exotic places every day, but we could always find beauty in the places that we go in our daily life, close to our own home.

That's the principle of my biking exercise trip as I went for another trip with my son in my village. To make it fun, I went to the places or areas I haven't explored before.

It has become almost a routine for me to get out at the end of the day with my bike. This time we started around 5 PM and we headed toward the rice farm.

The route at the beginning was easy to ride on. As we get to the farm, we started riding on a bumpy road. This was the beauty: riding the bike on the farm on the bumpy road. You really feel that you peddle your bike and at the same time enjoy the view!

bike_actifit.jpg The track at the beginning of our bike trip was easy.

bike_actifit_2.jpg We entered alleys we have never went through before.

bike_actifit_3.jpg Funny, this wall is built of roof tiles instead of clay bricks.

bike_actifit_4.jpg THe house was for sale, but it did not finish building yet. It looked quite old.

bike_actifit_5.jpg We went further toward the farm. A dod was laying lazily by the road.

bike_actifit_6.jpg Excuse, me, we're just passing by.

bike_actifit_8.jpg We took our time to stop shortly to see the view of the rice farm.

bike_actifit_9.jpg We started cycling again after resting in the rice farm

bike_actifit_10.jpg Some farmers were harvesting vegetables.

bike_actifit_11.jpg We entered a narrow and bumpy road in the farm.

bike_actifit_12.jpg There were no houses around as we followed the bumpy road.

bike_actifit_15.jpg We could not ride our bikes further, so we had to walk to check the track. As it is not possible to continue, we headed back.

bike_actifit_16.jpg I took a quick snap at the fungi on the dead tree trunk by the road.

bike_actifit_17.jpg The path was ascending.

bike_actifit_18.jpg Was I in the year 2020?

We went cycling for about an hour or so. It was fun and I could take a lot of photos. Thanks for checking my post.
