My Actifit Report Card: March 18 2021

In South Africa we have this thing called loadshedding. And no it is not what you think!! It is our electricity that is cut in a planned manner when demand is more than supply. This happens daily for 2.5 hours at a time on a rotational basis at different times in the day, so that everybody gets treated the same.

So what do you do, when everything dies down?? Well if it is a nice clear evening, you lie down outside, with man's best friend, and watch the stars - nice and relaxing !!

When the loadshedding is lifted you just write a post about it!! Does anything like this happens where you stay!!

I am in the Pacific Northwest and we do not have low chatting, but I have heard California does in the summertime what everyone's running their air conditioners LOL! Looks like a nice way to relax when the power is off! Awesome 9K @actifit Steps my friend as well take care!

This is one thing our municipality gets right every time, dead on time the lights go out without fail!
Best to have your attitude and do something relaxing than trying to blog on the phone with limited cell reception; good old Vodacom says the batteries are stolen each time they're replaced at the towers! Funny it doesn't happen at the MTN towers as my husband never has any issues!
I'll stop complaining and heed your advice next time @rynow:)

I have the same problem, with Vodacom, my signal just dies!!

Hello friend...
It happened in past when I was living in village, my parents are still living in village. In the summer time when the consumption is more the electricity department start the powercut on alternative days. And feel worst when in our area we had power cut duting night and some time it last for 10 - 12 hours...
Fortunately in city where I am living now only Tuesday is the power cut and its also varies from half an hour to few hours...
