And just like that, the heat and humidity are gone. A full day of unbearable heat index temperatures made things difficult, and sweaty, but the thunderstorms blew through yesterday afternoon and knocked the heat out. Things even got a bit exciting when the tornado sirens went off. Yet, no damage as only funnel clouds went over head. I got all of my steps in before that, fortunately, to get my streak to two days. Sadly, no cool cloud photos however; it was a bit too wet out to steal some photos of mother nature's fury.
