Can I just use actfit to record my activity during exercise and get rewarded for that ( even if I don't post ) ? I go for some morning exercise daily at the same place, so nothing much to post.

for now you need to actually make a post to get rewarded. The content can be very basic, just mentioning what you did.
In the near future we will mostly be introducing an alternate option that does not involve the need for a textual post.
