Friday and I am Ready for the Weekend!

Somehow this was a tough week. Going to the office did not help, but also today I had to do another drive in Seattle traffic and rain to my brother in law who is a dentist.

My tooth crumbled about a week ago or so. He did access it remotely as my wife took a picture of it and sent to him. He assessed it and determined that there is nothing urgent and I came in today as we already scheduled to replace the decades old filling in that tooth.

A few months ago when I came in for cleaning he said that the filling is failing and should be replaced. He said he doubted that it would last more than a month or two and yes, it didn't make it one week to our scheduled replacement date.

Today he took a good look at it and confirmed that there is no decay and the tooth is healthy, but the filling was really old and large so it just needed to be replaced.

I also went to Costco again today to fill up the car and get some dishwasher detergent as we completely ran out. I picked up a few more items but nothing was really urgent.

We also went for a small walk with my wife, so it all added up to over eleven thousand steps, so my ten thousand plus steps streak is still going.

Splinterlands had their first Fortune Draws this morning and despite having 299 entries I did not win anything this time around. But there are fifty two more Draws remaining and I have a much better understanding of the way it works, so should get more entries and get at least a black foil card next time or in the next few weekly Fortune Draws.

The Splinterlands season is more than half way over, so it would be interesting what new rewards cards I am going to get at the end of the season when more Glint tokens become available.

My new reward cards are too low level and are not really playable in champion or even diamond league.

It will probably take a few more seasons to get them to a playable level. I did save around a million glint tokens, but it was not nearly enough with the increased glint costs.

My Hive power quietly crossed twenty one thousand today and it happened just ten days after I have achieved twenty thousand Hive power.

If I were able to sustain this kind of rate I would increase my Hive power by about thirty six thousand per year. That would mean that I would achieve over fifty thousand Hive power a year from now.

I doubt that kind of rate is sustainable, so my goal from ten days ago was to double my hive power to forty thousand in a year. I think that I can achieve that goal.

Hive is starting to perk up a little bit but still has a long way to go to twenty cents it was recently at. In fact twenty cents might be a resistance level now.

Crypto in general is doing better with Bitcoin over one hundred ten thousand dollars and Etherium almost at four thousand.

Mortgage rates are at some of the lowest levels of the year and are expected to go even lower as federal reserve is expected to do at least two rate cuts this year. And if we can get government shutdown resolved things can get much better for the markets...
