A Perfect Saturday

Another eventful day today, started with me cleaning the gutters as they were overflowing with leaves, roof material and pine needles.
The ladies went shopping getting some natural shampoo, shaving cream for me and lip gloss for our daughter. On the way back they stopped by our favorite sandwich shop and got everyone some sandwiches. I got a mushroom melt sandwich which is very filling and I really enjoyed.

Then I did some leaf blowing and cleaning our yard and driveway. Then we went to the beach and did some hunting for the sea glass as well as climbing on the rocks and having fun.
It was a bit chilly at the beach so ladies couldn't last very long. When we came back we went to visit an alpaca farm nearby. Our daughter really loves those animals and looking forward to volunteering at the farm next summer.

In the middle of our alpaca tour a Russian Blue cat showed up and caused a major commotion among the alpacas. Surprisingly alpacas were the first ones to detect the approaching cat. They all rushed to check the cat out and that is how we the humans were first made aware of the furry visitor.
It came up to the wire fence and wanted to be petted. Our daughter came over to the fence and petted the cat.

After we got home from the farm I went back to the yard and did some tree trimming. The trees on the side of our house are really fast growing and need regular trimming.
I was working on the trees until the end of the day and once it got dark I went back into the house and we had another meal together and finished the day with a great movie featuring Robert Deniro called Everyone is fine.

I would really recommend it as a family night movie.
And I got almost fifteen thousand steps today.

Alpaca are so cute, they often are here for fairs and it's always a pleasure to see them!
They sure are! Especially fun when a lot of them surround you.
Lovely weekend update. Those alpacas do look fascinating. Interesting how your daughter likes them a lot. It would be cool totally to be able to volunteer at the alpaca farm. Happy new week (and new month) ahead.
