Very hot and active day!....
My day started out with what was planned to be a kettlebell exercise day but it was so hot and humid by 6:30 in the morning that I had to cancel those plans and go on a 4-mile run. That form out run got interrupted one mile into it, or I got called back by my wife so I could take my thirteen-year-old cousin out on his Warrior Race training run. I did manage to get into miles and then a short drive to a Lake Murray ran a mile before his strength cap that helped to the other half of the run that was planned.
I'm still pretty happy with getting over three miles running on a day that was over 90 with high humidity. It turned out that may be much more tired the rest of the day that I thought possible, not to mention having to do over a hundred push-ups in the sand at the beach for the other half of his work out that we skip that morning. Being outside all day walking up and down the beach going for the Run actually really got to me, and by the end of the day I was exhausted and beat.
I'm pretty happy with my step count, although I would have liked to hit closer to 20,000 on my Garmin and 15,000 on my phone but I'll take what I can get.
